2014 China Green Companies Summit held in Nanning, Guangxi

From April 20th-22nd, more than 1,000 businesses and entrepreneurs flocked to the Southern Chinese city of Nanning -- known as China's "Green City", to participate in the 7th China Green Companies Summit (CGCS). The CGCS, organized each year by the China Entrepreneur Club (CEC), brings together hundreds of Chinese and international companies, ranging from Alibaba, Lenovo, Wanda group, to IBM, Schneider Electric, Fosun Group and BMW.

A Dialogue with Wang Shi and Liu Chuanzhi

Liu Chuanzhi, Chairman of Legend Holdings (parent company of Lenovo), and Wang Shi, Chairman of Vanke Group, sat down together on April 20th in Nanning to share their fascinating stories representing the first generation of modern Chinese entrepreneurs at the China Green Companies Summit 2014. Both companies were founded three decades ago in 1984, and now represent some of the largest and most well known private enterprises in China.

The Next Ten Years of Sino-French Cooperation

With this year marking the 50th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations, the China Green Companies Summit (CGCS) 2014 was recognized by the Chinese and French governments as one of the nine China-based official celebration events. A 40-strong French official and business delegation headed by French Secretary of State Madame Fleur Pellerin attended the Summit in Nanning.
