"We see the UK and China can work together. Already they're over 400 Chinese businesses operating successfully in the UK," he added.

A fashion show was also held during the event.

Invited by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron, a delegation of China's top entrepreneurs led by Liu Chuanzhi, chairman of the China Entrepreneur Club and founder of the Lenovo Group, flew to the UK on Sunday to take part in a week-long business program organized by UKTI.

The program includes China Business Day and meetings with a number of key British political, academic and business figures.
