China Green Companies Summit

The China Green Companies Summit is dedicated to promoting smart, long-term economic and social growth. Established in 2008, the Annual Summit, held on Earth Day (April 22) each year, annually hosts over 1,000 guests from China and abroad, including business leaders, political decision-makers, academic authorities, NGO representatives and influential journalists, each bringing global foresight and drive for reform to the event. The Annual Summit has been widely recognized as one of the most influential business forums dedicated to sustainable development of China's economy.

The 2015 Summit saw over 130 international participants take part, including delegations from the UK, France, Japan, Canada, Australia and Taiwan. The UK delegation alone included over 40 business participants, and was lead by UK Ambassador to China, Barbara Woodward. Additionally, French Ambassador Maurice GOURDAULT-MONTAGNE, Australian Ambassador Frances Adamson and EU Ambassador Hans Dietmar Schweisgut were in attendance.
